ANAND-SS 309L

ANAND-SS 309L Ruitile based low carbon 23% Cr 12% Cr Stainless Steel electrode Extra low carbon, all position electrode giving 25/12 Cr/Ni deposit with excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, corrosion at elevated temperature, and oxidation. Extra low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation and hence avoids intergranular cracking. Gives a stable arc, low spatter, smooth weld profile, and easily removable slag. The weld deposit is of radiographic quality and withstands temperatures up to 1100°C. The final weld bead is very finely rippled and shiny.

Applications

Suitable for welding 25/12 stainless steel grades like AISI 309L.
